Let me begin by telling you who I am....

My name is Cynitra Anderson, and I am a Home Help/Care Provider also known as Home Health Aide. I am a proud union member of SEIU Healthcare MI, and a SEIU COPE member. I also volunteer as a member politcal organizer and member organizer.

I started this web page because CHANGE is needed, and wanting to reached out to as many home care providers in Michigan. I am running for an executive board statewide position with SEIU Healthcare MI to serve and fight for every Home Help/Care Provider in Michigan.

I am currently caring for four clients, pursuing my Bachelors of Arts in Healthcare Studies and Culture Anthropology from Ashford University, and can truly empathize what home care workers are really experiencing. Statistically, there are over 42,000 home care providers in Michigan that are in a local union with SEIU Healthcare MI.

I know what you are going through in experiencing some unfair treatment because I am going through it, too. We can do something about it by uniting/standing up together to make a strong voice with our union, SEIU Healthcare MI. 

We have the power to change our situations, but it takes effort from you to voice out and take a stand to our legislation and our local union. Our union, SEIU can help us but it takes a collective effort from you to get involve. By responding below, together we can change our situation.
